David Blitzer   David Blitzer is the chairman of the S&P 500 Index Committee and a member of Standard & Poor's Investment Policy Committee and Economic Forecast Council. He previously served as corporate economist at McGraw-Hill and as senior economic analyst with National Economic Research Associates. Blitzer is often quoted in the national business press and is the author of Outpacing the Pros: Using Indices to Beat Wall Street's Savviest Money Managers, McGraw-Hill, 2001.
 
John Bogle   John Bogle is the founder and former CEO of The Vanguard Group Inc., and president of the Bogle Financial Markets Research Center. He created Vanguard in 1974 and had been associated with a predecessor company since 1951, following his graduation from Princeton University, magna cum laude in economics. The Vanguard Group comprises more than 100 mutual funds with assets totaling about $750 billion.
 
  Lisa Dallmer, vice president at NYSE Group, is responsible for driving the expansion of trading and listing services for Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) and the NYSE Family of Indexes. Lisa educates issuers on the innovation and market structure NYSE and NYSE Arca provides to investors, including the oversight of the Lead Market Maker program for new, primary listed securities. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a BA from Miami University (OH).
 
  Gary Gastineau is a managing member of Managed ETFs LLC, a new firm that has applied to the SEC for exemptive relief to permit the issuance of actively-managed ETFs and improved indexed ETFs. He is the author of The Exchange-Traded Fund Manual, as well as a new book, Someone Will Make Money on Your Funds - Why Not You? (A Better Way to Select Mutual and Exchange-Traded Funds). He has been a long-term observer of indexes and index funds, and is a frequent contributor to the Journal of Indexes.
 
  Lee Kranefuss is the chief executive officer for BGI's Intermediary and Global Index & Markets Groups. He is responsible for BGI's iShares ETFs, as well as Institutional Indexing, Securities Lending, Cash, and related products, globally. Lee joined BGI in 1997 after spending six years with The Boston Consulting Group and, prior to that, five years in the technology industry. Lee has an MBA in finance from Wharton, where he graduated with distinction as a Palmer Scholar.
 
  David Krein is the founder and president of DTB Capital, a structured-investment and derivatives boutique in New York. He offers specialized advisory and brokerage services to high-net-worth investors, private wealth managers and select institutional clients on a wide range of products and markets. David earned an MBA with Honors from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from Cornell University.
 
  Rich White is a freelance financial writer who works in the New York City market. He was the first full-time editor of Financial Planning magazine, and has written ten books for financial advisors, all published by Judy Diamond Associates. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
 
  Neal Wolkoff is chairman and CEO of the American Stock Exchange. He was appointed in April 2005, after serving as acting CEO. Previously, he was chief operating officer of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). Over 20 years at the NYMEX, Wolkoff served in several functions, including acting president, and managed all major functions of the world's largest energy and precious metals exchange. He received a BA from Columbia University and a JD from Boston University School of Law.
